FAIR HEALTH® PRESIDENT TO ADDRESS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTAL PLANS ON VALUE ADDED BY ROBUST DENTAL CLAIMS DATABASE, COST TRANSPARENCY

NEW YORK – September 10, 2012 – Robin Gelburd, President of the independent not-for-profit FAIR Health, Inc., will address the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) on Sept. 11, 2012, during the association's annual meeting. Ms. Gelburd will discuss how FAIR Health’s robust dental claims database and cost transparency tools are providing value to the dental care marketplace.

Gelburd will highlight FAIR Health’s 2012 initiatives and achievements.  In particular, she will discuss new product development and demonstrate dental-related features of FAIR Health’s free consumer website,
www.fairhealthconsumer.org
,
including new educational content pertaining to orthodontia as well as a new cost look-up tool known as FH Dental Estimate Assist. The FAIR Health site allows patients to estimate the cost of procedures such as root canals, extractions with implantation, wisdom teeth removal, and emergency visits in their own locales. In addition to the dental cost lookup tool and a similar tool for estimating medical costs, the site offers comprehensive educational resources to help consumers better understand the health insurance system.  The site was honored by the White House at its Summit on Smart Disclosure for providing clear, useful and actionable information for individuals.
