NEW YORK--()--FAIR Health, the independent not-for-profit corporation dedicated to bringing transparency to healthcare costs and out-of-network reimbursement, has been recognized by the White House as a leading innovator in promoting consumer transparency. As such, the organization was invited to present its state-of-the-art consumer cost lookup tools at a White House-led summit on “Informing Consumers Through Smart Disclosure” in Washington, D.C., on March 30.
Smart disclosure refers to the timely release of accessible, usable data in ways that enable consumers to make informed decisions about products and services in areas such as healthcare, education, finance, and energy and to select market offerings that best meet their needs.
